We met with Denise at the time of order. I had an idea of what I was hoping to have made….something that encompassed the outdoors, masculine, yet soft and beautiful. I was hopeful to have more greens (cedar, pine, sticks, seed eucalyptus, some pine cones), maybe some pheasant feathers and then finished with the softness of white and limelight hydrangeas. Denise added gorgeous magnolia leaves to bring in more brown, beautiful berries that offered a hint of additional pop of color and such pretty ribbon that looked like birch. We opted for a less traditional looking piece for on top of the casket and for the arrangements for “dad” and “grandpa”, we chose to have wreaths in similar design elements to the casket spray, with the addition of lanterns to the center of the wreaths. On the day of the service, we walked into church and the funeral attendants already had the flower arrangements set up by the casket. The arrangements took our breath away. They could not have been more stunning, elegant, and a perfect representation of my dad’s love of the outdoors. As darkness fell and the visitation started, the church was softly lit and the candles in the lanterns flickered with a warm glow that offered comfort and peace. On the day of the service, and still to this very day, we receive comments and compliments from people on how stunning the floral décor was and how beautiful the church looked. Almost 300 people came to the visitation…so many people learned about Barb’s that night! (😊) During such a difficult time, Barb’s team was professional, compassionate, accommodating and took the time and care needed to create a beautiful expression of love through the arrangements that were created. We cannot thank Barb, Denise and the team enough! We will be loyal customers forever…and will be the first to refer your business to others…knowing the care and quality that Barb’s produces. They are pros at matching ribbon with dress color! When it came to high school dances, the corsages my brother gave and the boutonnieres and garters I gave to my dates could not be beat. And our dates were proud to wear them. I look forward to buying my wedding flowers from them someday!

The staff is always attentive, listening to my needs and asking questions about the occasion to better help them create the perfect bouquet of sunshine. You can give them a price range of what you'd like to spend and they take you through all of the options, helping to create the highest quality arrangement.

I ordered a fern from out of town for a funeral, when I arrived at the funeral I was extremely impressed by the beautiful large fern that was sent! The fern and basket was much more beautiful than the website depicted.
